Meet Our Friend Mr. Wendell Hobbs – Jazz Saxophonist

Meet Mr. Wendell Hobbs – A well-accomplished professional Saxophonist with over 50 years of musical experience.  As a jazz musician, his musical training culminated with having graduated from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts with a  Bachelor of Music degree in Saxophone.

Mr. Hobbs is also a prolific  composer of music, having founded the Brandywine Valley Saxophone Quartet  which plays (in addition to compositions by the old jazz masters) original compositions by Mr. Hobbs himself.  You can learn more about Mr. Hobbs at All About Jazz here:

As the Director of the Masters Of Jazz Orchestra, Mr. Hobbs is busy entertaining audiences in the Philadelphia area.  His most recent performance is on June 15th at the Philadelphia Navy Yard at the Chapel of Four Chaplains.  You can follow Mr. Hobbs and his Masters of Jazz Orchestra on Facebook here:
